Comprehensive Services Act (CSA)
The Hanover CSA office implements the requirements of Virginia law designed to help troubled youths and their families, specifically those who may need and are eligible for:
- residential care or resources;
- special education through a private school program;
- foster care services;
- services to prevent foster care placements; or
- other services and are under the supervision of the juvenile and domestic relations court.
State and local agencies, parents and private service providers work together to plan and provide services through two local teams, the Community Policy and Management Team (CPMT) and the Family Assessment and Planning Team (FAPT). More information can be found at www.csa.state.va.us
