Ages 50 and up. With this hands-on experience, not only will you enjoy a delicious lunch, but you will take part in learning about all the spring weather has to offer as far as plantings and gardening. A local farmer will be on hand with seasonal vegetables for sale and to answer questions on gardening. This is sure to be a great start to your spring as we celebrate with food, fellowship and fresh outdoor air.

As children we would look forward all year to winning lots of cute prizes at homemade booths. Well, its back! Take a step back in time to visit an old school Carnival planned just for you! Play games, enjoy carnival style foods and be entertained by some of our favorite clowns!

Hanover County Parks and Recreation has teamed up with Senior Connections / The Capital Area Agency on aging to bring you this fun filled day. Food will be available for purchase on site, however pre-register now for a discounted meal rate!
