Turf Establishment Is Next Home Gardening Class

The Hanover Master Gardeners will offer a class on "Turf Establishment and Maintenance" on Saturday, August 27.

Topics discussed in this class will include soil preparation and amendments, turf selection, fertilization schedule, cultural practices and pest management strategies.

The class will be held from 9-11 a.m. at the Department of Social Services seminar room, at the Human Services Complex, 12304 Washington Highway, Ashland.

This is the third topic in 2011 Home Gardening Series held by Hanover Master Gardeners. All classes are free and open to the public.
