Friday, 4/27/2012: 45 Days Before the Election –In-Person Absentees available in office
- Monday, 5/21/2012: Close of Books - Last Day to Register to Vote in this Election
- Tuesday, 6/5/2012: Last Day to Mail or Fax Absentee Ballot Request
- Saturday, 6/9/2012: 9am-5pm Last Day to Vote In-Person Absentee
- Monday, 6/11/2012: 8:30am-5pm Emergency Absentee Voting
- Tuesday, 6/12/ 2012: Republican Party Primary Election - County Wide
- Wednesday, 6/13/2012: Starting at Noon – Election Canvass
CALLING ALL HANOVER COUNTY CITIZENS!
If you would like to be a part of history become an Officer of Elections! We are looking for citizens that would like to volunteer a few hours of their time to assist in the Presidential Election this November. During this year’s Legislative session a law was passed allowing citizens to serve as Volunteer Officers of Elections § 24.2-116. Compensation of officers; volunteer officers.
We will host an orientation class in the County Administration building board room on Saturday, August 25th at 9AM.
VOTER REGISTRATION & ELECTIONS – CITIZEN WORK SHOP
Saturday, Sept 8th @ 10am-12pm at County Administration Building Board of Supervisor Room
The Citizen’s Work Shop will be held for all interested parties in conducting a voter registration drive, being a Poll Watcher and to learn about the new Election laws.
